Here are only a few to give you an idea as to how man has changed what God has said! The Latin for yovel is iobileus, which just happens to sound like the Latin word iubileus, connected to the verb iubilare, "to celebrate."

Answer: If you compare the King James and New King James Versions with the newer translations (e.g., the New International Version, English Standard Version, Christian Standard Bible, New Living Translation, etc. Christians just don’t read those bits. The New Revised Standard Version is the version most commonly preferred by biblical scholars. These scholars and stylists went back to the original languages and sought to produce the closest natural equivalent of the message in natural, contemporary English.
The New Living Translation is a dynamic equivalence translation based on the work of 90 Bible scholars and a smaller team of English stylists. There are thousands of changes in all of the different translations and versions. Joseph the Prophet always referred to his work with the Bible as the new translation, and by that name it was known in the early years of the Church. The translation of the Bible by Joseph Smith shows much of what is meant by that statement.
