After speaking to Randy’s mother, brother, and Rudy Sarzo (see my previous blogs), I received a phone call from Sharon Arden, publicist for Jet Records. Randy Rhoads died 36 years ago today (March 19). The documents bore no evidence of the supposed plane crash which is claimed to have taken his life.

He was by far the best guitar player in the late 70s to early 80s where metal is concerned..and quite possibly the best classical player as well.
